Supermoto Race Classes 2010

 

 

Basic rules EVERYONE must follow:

1. Anti-freeze in liquid cooled machines must be switched to water, water with water wetter, or engine ice.

2. Oil drain plugs must be safety wired. 

3. Catch-cans must be used for all vent hoses(carbs, and engine case) to catch fluids from over-flowing on the track. 

4. Use of axel sliders, footpeg sliders, bar-end sliders is optional but recommended.

5. Number plates must be visible and easy to read or you will NOT be scored. 

6. No passing on yellow flags

 

2010 Classes:

Mini Youth (15 and Younger):

• Unlimited modifications
• Up to 160cc four-stroke single
• Up to 85cc two-stroke single
• Must use a mini chassis

Mini Pro:

• Unlimited modifications
• Up to 160cc four-stroke single
• Up to 85cc two-stroke single
• Must use a mini chassis

Sport MX:

• Stock MX bikes with DOT or Knobby Tires, and production street legal dual sport bikes.(DRZ400, WR250X, KLX250 etc.)
• Open displacement two-stroke or four-stroke Single
• Standard size wheels (must have 21-inch front wheel)
• 17" wheels if standard equipment on production dual sport bike
• Full (stock) suspension travel
• Brake rotors, pads and lines may be upgraded, but stock brake calipers must be retained
• DOT tires are required

250:

• Unlimited modification
• Up to 167cc liquid-cooled, two-stroke Single
• Up to 200cc air-cooled, two-stroke Single
• Up to 250cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke Single
• Up to 400cc air-cooled, four-stroke Single

 

450 A:

• Advanced Riders, Unlimited modification
• Up to 285cc liquid-cooled, two-stroke Single
• Up to 400cc air-cooled, two-stroke Single
• Up to 455cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke Single or Twin
• Up to 550cc air-cooled, four-stroke Single

 

450 B:

• Beginning or non-advanced riders, Unlimited modification
• Up to 285cc liquid-cooled, two-stroke Single
• Up to 400cc air-cooled, two-stroke Single
• Up to 455cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke Single or Twin
• Up to 550cc air-cooled, four-stroke Single

OPEN A:

• Advanced Riders, Unlimited modification
• Open displacement Single or Twin

 OPEN B:

• Beginning or non-advanced riders, Unlimited modification
• Open displacement Single or Twin

Vet (40+):

• Unlimited modifications, Open displacement Single or Twin, Minimum age of 40 to participate

Quad Supermoto A:

• Advanced Riders
• Unlimited modifications, Open displacement

Quad Supermoto B:

• Non Advanced Riders, or Beginners
• Unlimited modifications, Open displacement

 

Delano Sports Center Dash For Cash$$$$:

• Advanced Riders, Unlimited modification, Bikes Only
• Last class of the day, Main event only, 5 laps asphalt and dirt.
• $20 entry, entry money paid back to top 3 riders
• Grid position selected randomly
• Now an extra $100 added to the pot by Delano Sports Center
